The Hospitality Center for Chinese (HCC) desires to share Christ's love through hospitality to Chinese students, scholars, and their families. We provide a welcoming environment and practical resources and relationships with Americans as you transition to life here in Minnesota. Activities at HCC cultivate a community of friendship, understanding, and cultural exchange.

The Hospitality Center for Chinese (HCC) was founded in 1992 to serve the Chinese student and scholar community at the University of Minnesota. HCC grew out of a desire to not provide only practical services to the Chinese but also to express hospitality and love through friendship and cultural exchange.

Originally, services included friendship meals and host families; now they have expanded to include English classes, free furniture, recreational outings and other activities, free WiFi and ping pong at China Place, and airport pickups.

The Hospitality Center for Chinese is located at “China Place” across the street from the University of Minnesota, on the St. Paul campus.
