Waterfall Photography Workshop

Saturday July 27th

Join HCC & OASIS Program Coordinator as well as landscape photographer, Josh Driver, on a trip to Cascade Falls to photograph waterfalls. Learn the basics of long exposure, explore a new area, and enjoy some local treats!

Outline of Evening

  • Leave at 5:00pm
  • Arrive at The Watershed Cafe, in Osceola, WI.
  • Tasting at The Watershed
  • Long exposure demonstration
  • Photograph the area!
  • Return to Minneapolis around 11:00pm.

Please indicate your preferred departure time on the form.  Dinner is not included, but snacks will be available. You may also chose to eat at the Watershed Cafe.

Josh will be joined by other local photographers, all of whom will assist you in answering questions, setting up compositions and offering help for anything else photography-related.

There is a $5 fee for this event.

Please note: a tripod is HIGHLY desired to shoot the waterfalls, especially if you want to make them appear smooth. We will have some extras to use based on demand. If you do not have one, please email Josh jdriver@hcchinese.org for recommendations on suitable tripod for your budget.

We have limited seats in our vehicles for attenders to practice photography. Please email Josh with concerns or questions about bringing children. We won't get back until late.

Registration

Limited to ten participants.
