December 16: HCC Board Member Joann Pittman

Survival English? How to succeed in English in Minnesota.

The goal of our free monthly meals are for Chinese and Americans to build community over a meal served by two churches. Every meal has a theme, activity, children's program, prize giveaways, announcements, and discussion time. Come join us as we explore Chinese, American, and Christian culture together.

December's guest speaker Joann Pittman is a consultant, trainer, teacher, researcher, and writer who focuses on helping people live well where they don’t belong. In her case, that’s China, where she lived for nearly 30 years. She is the author of "Survival Chinese Lessons" and a life-long learner–hopefully of EVERYTHING! Additionally, Joann is an HCC board member and speaks fluent Chinese.
